Dental specialists complete two to six extra years of training after dental school and usually work on referral from a general dentist, although most accept patients who call directly. Orthodontists straighten teeth with braces and clear aligners; endodontists handle root canals; periodontists treat gum disease and place implants; oral and maxillofacial surgeons extract wisdom teeth, place implants and do jaw surgery, often under IV sedation; prosthodontists rebuild smiles with crowns, bridges and dentures; denture centers focus on full and partial dentures, relines and repairs. Sedation and hospital dentists serve anxious patients and people with special needs, while TMJ and sleep-apnea dentists make oral appliances for jaw pain and snoring.

This was by far the worst experience Iโve ever had with a dentist. Not only did they lack basic professional skill, but their work was careless and completely irresponsible. The dentist was cold, dismissive, and showed zero concern for the pain or comfort of the patient. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from this place unless you want to waste your time, money, and risk your health.๐ฅต๐ก

Absolutely terrible experience. This was one of the worst dental visits I have ever had. The staff was rude, careless, and acted like patients were a burden. The dentist was impatient, rough, and showed no concern for comfort or professionalism. Nothing was explained properly, and it felt like they only cared about taking money as quickly as possible. The office was disorganized, the wait time was ridiculous, and the overall service was unacceptable. I left in more pain than when I arrived and with zero confidence in their work. I would strongly advise people to avoid this place and find a dentist who actually respects patients.๐คฎ๐ฅฒ๐ก๐ก๐ก

POMS did a great job with my teenโs wisdom teeth removal. The office operated like a well-oiled machine getting us in, obtaining x-ray, the doctor put the IV in easily, and the procedure was over very quickly. Their post-surgical protocol for medication to address pain and inflammation worked very well (with judiciously applied ice packs). My kid had very little pain overall and slept through most of it over the days following the extraction. I will recommend POMS and Dr. Won to other parents!

I am writing to formally report a serious and unacceptable incident that occurred during my minor daughterโs wisdom tooth extraction procedure at your clinic. During the placement of an IV for anesthesia, a young woman who was not identified as a nurse or licensed medical professional โ and appeared to be front-desk staff โ entered the procedure room. She attempted to start the IV without wearing gloves, repeatedly inserting and redirecting the needle when she was unable to locate a vein. My daughter was visibly distressed and was, in effect, treated as a trial subject. This alone represents a grave breach of medical standards. However, the situation escalated further when the same individual carelessly threw used IV materials and packaging onto a tray that had been prepared for sterile instruments, completely compromising sterility and creating a clear risk of infection. I personally examined my daughterโs arm the following day and observed multiple puncture injuries. I have photographic documentation of the injuries and am prepared to provide them if necessary. As the supervising physician/dentist, you are ultimately responsible for ensuring that only properly trained, licens
